Governor Kiran Bedi went out to visit the night city on the back of a two-wheeler scooter. He came out covering his body with cloth. There were no armed security guards. That picture of Kiran Bedi is currently viral on social media.

How safe is Puducherry at night for general public? Especially for women, Kiran Bedi was out to see it. He looked around the city late on Friday night without caring about any administrative report or anyone's words.

After checking the streets on a scooter at night, Kiran wrote a message on WhatsApp saying that Puducherry is safe enough even for women late at night. But he doesn't want to stop there. Kiran wants stricter security measures even though he doesn't see any problem in the city at night. He directed the police to take several steps so that women can feel more secure at night. Governor Kiran Bedi also tweeted about the same.
