40 slaps for not standing when the roll is called in the class!

The Dhaka Times Desk Schools have government guidelines not to spank students. Still, such incidents occur. But this incident is not in our country but in India. A teacher slapped 40 for not standing when the roll was called in the class!

The child was sitting in class and drawing. So he didn't hear his roll being called. A teacher could not tolerate such 'disrespect' of a child student at all. The teacher slapped the third grade child like that. But that slap is not one or two, 40 slaps! At one point, the teacher grabbed her hair and hit her head on the blackboard in anger.

Recently such an incident took place at St. John Vianney High School in Utrethia region of Lakshmi, India. Retika, the teacher of that school was calling the roll for the attendance of the students. The child was busy drawing and did not notice. Teacher Retika became furious when he did not stand up. The teacher called the child and started slapping him on the cheek one by one. Even this does not stop his anger. Teacher Retika grabbed the collar of the child's shirt, grabbed a fistful of hair and threw it up to the head on the blackboard!

But that teacher's forehead is bad. Because the school has CCTV cameras. These feats of Retika with the child were caught on the CCTV camera. The beating video is now viral on social media.

After returning home from school, the boy's red cheeks came to the attention of his parents. They contacted the boy's classmates and learned about the torture. Later, when the matter was reported to the headmaster, he saw the CCTV footage and got the proof of the entire incident.

The school authorities dismissed the accused teacher from the school. Although the teacher apologized to the student's parents for the act. It didn't help either. The student's family has also lodged a complaint with the police against Retika.
