According to the fatwa, the practices of Muslim women such as make-up and hair cutting are against the rules of Islam. So women should not go to parlour. Not only that, no Muslim woman can even cut her hair. After the announcement of this fatwa, there was a huge stir across India.

Recently, a person from Saharanpur asked Darul-Ulum Deoband University a question, is it permissible to pluck the eyebrows or cut the hair of women in the Islamic tradition? 'Does Islam allow women to make up and cut their hair?'

In response to this question, Darul-Uloom Deoband University issued a fatwa saying that all such acts are against Islam. It further states, 'If a woman engages in such activities, she is clearly breaking the rules of Islam.'

According to the Darul Ifta organisation, there are a total of 10 acts mentioned in Islam that Muslim women should never do. One of these works is eyebrow plucking.

Speaking in this context, Kazmi said, 'Cutting hair or make-up - Muslim women should never do these. Because it increases the beauty of women.' According to her, 'Muslim women must stay away from parlors. Because other men are attracted to them because of their appearance.'

Kazmi also said, 'Nowadays many Muslim women tend to go to parlors. So this kind of fatwa should have been issued earlier.'
