An Indian court has upheld a warrant to kill a two-year-old tigress. The Maharashtra Forest Department issued orders to kill the tigress after it claimed the lives of 4 people. However, animal rights activists challenged this order of the Maharashtra court.
Last July, tigers killed two people in Brahmapuri, Maharashtra. 4 others were injured in his attack.
Then the tiger was caught by the forest department. But it was released back into a tiger reserve after wearing a radio collar. After being released, two more were killed in this tigress attack.
