After 8 years of serving as the President of the United States, Barack Obama ended his tenure quite efficiently last year. However, his duties towards the country are not over. So this time the former president is going to be associated with judicial work.

According to BBC news yesterday (Sunday), the local court has already offered Obama to participate in judicial work in the state of Illinois. Obama also expressed his consent to their proposal. Barack Obama will start working in Illinois Cook region next month. However, no details have been given in this regard yet.

According to Timothy Evans, the chief judge of the Cook Court in the state of Illinois, Obama, as a resident of the community and a US citizen, has made it clear through his spokesperson that he will carry out this duty.

Previously, former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush also performed the same duties after serving as presidents.

It should be noted that Barack Obama studied law at Harvard University in the United States. He also taught for 12 years at the University of Chicago Law Department. Barack Obama also worked as a lawyer for some time.
