Facebook has 27 crore fake accounts

The Dhaka Times Desk Facebook members are increasing day by day. But most of these members are fake. A person named Nana is opening an account. According to the latest information, there are currently 27 crore fake accounts on Facebook.

The social media has admitted that there are 27 crore fake or fake accounts on the Facebook platform. These fake Facebook accounts are sometimes closed. But still these fake accounts cannot be prevented.

According to a report in the British daily Telegraph on Saturday, the number of fake and fake accounts is actually several billion more than Facebook previously thought. This week, the Facebook authorities published the third quarter accounts.

According to Facebook, “In the third quarter of 2017, two to three percent of their 2.1 billion active users accounts are fake and unaccountable. One per cent higher than what they expected in July.”

The firm also reported that another 10 percent of accounts were fake accounts of genuine customers, up from 6 percent estimated in the previous quarter.

About 13 percent of the accounts are fake or fake. As such, about 27 crore accounts out of 210 crore active customers are considered 'invalid'.

Facebook says that improvements in the data it uses have made identifying fake accounts much easier. The number of fake accounts has suddenly increased - not that. However, Facebook authorities are working to close these fake accounts.
