Zahid Haasan is going to act in the film called 'Sitara'. The screenplay of this film is based on the novel 'Bhorer Prasuti' by one of the most popular writers of West Bengal, Abul Bashar. Ashish Roy will direct the film 'Sitaara'.

This actor Zahid Hassan, who is at the peak of popularity on the small screen, himself confirmed the news and said that the film 'Sitara' will be made in Bengali and Telugu languages.

Zahid Hasan told the media, I was contacted from Kolkata a couple of months ago. First they call me, then send sms.

Zahid Hasan also said, once we talked. Then I read the novel and liked it very much. Later I was sent the script. Everything has been finalized; Agreement has been made. I will play the role of Dilu in the film 'Sitara'.

The actor of the film 'Shravan Megher Din' said that the film 'Sitaara' will be shot in the Indian part of the border area of Dinajpur. Although the shooting is supposed to start at the end of November, due to the floods a few days ago, there is no atmosphere for shooting there. As per the new plan, the shooting is expected to start next January. And that's how I'm preparing.

The National Film Award winning actor has not revealed anything about who will act in 'Sitaara'. Wanted to keep it as a surprise. All in all, he hopes that 'Sitaara' will be a great milestone in his career.

Zahid Haasan's other films include 'Balbaan', 'Shravan Megher Din', 'Made in Bangladesh', 'Prajapati' and 'Amar Hai Jal'.

Zahid Hasan's latest film is 'Halda' directed by actor-producer Taukir Ahmed. The film is released on December 1.
