The ambulance carrying the body left the airport at 12:55 pm today (Saturday). Anisul Haque's wife Rubana Haque, son Navidul Haque and a granddaughter were with him this time.

Earlier, Bangladesh Biman's regular flight BG-202 carrying Mayor's coffin arrived at Sylhet Osmani Airport from London at 11:30 am.

From there, the mayor's body reached Dhaka in 12:45 minutes. The body was taken down from the plane and brought to gate 8 of the airport by ambulance.

Dhaka North City Corporation, garment exporters' organization BGMEA and Awami League paid tribute to the mayor there.

After that, he was brought to Banani's house in an ambulance carrying the body. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to Anisul Haque's Banani residence at two o'clock in the afternoon and expressed her condolences to the bereaved family members. He spent some private time with Anisul Haque's family members.

Anisul Haque's body was kept at the Army Stadium for public homage from 3:30 pm. People gather at the Army Stadium to attend the funeral of Anisul Haque. Meanwhile, Awami League and BNP leaders and workers also attended the funeral of Anisul Haque at the Army Stadium in Banani. Love and respect of thousands of people are offered at this time.

There, after Asr prayer at 4 pm, the funeral was held. From there, the popular figure Anisul Haque was laid to rest in the grave of his younger son next to the grave of Anisul Haque's mother.
