The picture you are looking at is Masjid-e Jameh, a historic mosque in Iran. This mosque is located in Isfahan, Iran.
This mosque was built in 771 AD. This mosque is the first dome mosque in Iran. It was made for Friday prayers.
In 840 AD, Caliph Al-Motazam-e Abbasi demolished this mosque and rebuilt it again in the same place facing the Qibla.
The history of different rulers and architecture of Iran is connected with the change and expansion of this mosque in different times and in different styles.
The mosque is popular for its two brick minarets on the north and south sides of the mosque. The northern dome is known as 'Taj al-Mulk' and the southern dome is known as 'Nizam al-Mulk'. Both domes were built by two different people, after whom the domes are named.
