Thousands of cyclists in Mexico took part in this extraordinary demonstration on June 9 to protest reckless drivers, harmful carbon emissions from cars and the conservatism of Jalisco state.
Hindustan Times reported that most of the cyclists who took part in the protest were naked. Some also took part in the protest in scantily clad clothes. About 3,000 cyclists are reported to have participated in the protest in Jalisco state. They traveled about 20 kilometers by bicycle to reach Guadalajara, the largest city in the province. Meanwhile, 2,000 cyclists took part in a similar naked protest in Mexico City.
