Zia Khan's boyfriend Suraj Panchali arrested

The Dhaka Times Desk Bollywood actress Zia Khan's boyfriend Suraj Panchali has been arrested by the police for inciting her to commit suicide. Mumbai police arrested Suraj yesterday on June 10.

A police source said that since Zia Khan committed suicide on June 4, the police had been keeping an eye on Suraj. The police arrested Suraj after Zia's six-page suicide note came into their hands on Friday. Zia spoke to Suruj on the phone for the last time before committing suicide. Zia's mother Rabeya Khan blames Suraj for her daughter's death.

After examining Zia's suicide note, the police said that Zia had written many things to Suruj. There Zia mentions how Suraj tortured her day after day. Raped her, forced her to have an abortion. In the end, several women came into contact disrespecting their relationship.

In the letter, Zia wrote, 'The day I first met you, I had many dreams in my eyes. fell in love with you I thought this was probably the best find of my life. I don't know why fate brought me to you. I did not owe so much pain, rape, torture.'

The letter also reads, 'Now I have nothing to lose, because I have lost everything. You killed my soul. I have no reason to live. By the time you read this letter, I may be far away from you.'

Police said they have enough evidence against Suruj. He will be produced in court today on June 11.
