The Dhaka Times Desk In the Middle East country, Saudi-Arabia, cinemas will be opened on April 18. By 2023, dozens more cinema halls will be officially opened in the country.
An agreement has already been signed between the State Investment Fund (PIF) and MC Entertainment, Saudi-Arabian state media said. Under that agreement, MC Entertainment will manage the movie activities in the country. Under that agreement, at least 40 theaters will be opened in Saudi Arabia in the next 5 years.
Al-Jazeera reported that by 2030, 50 to 100 cinemas will be established in 25 cities in Saudi Arabia, a senior PIF official said. As part of this, the country's first movie theater is going to be launched in Riyadh on April 18.
It should be noted that in December last year, Saudi Prince Muhammad Salman announced that the 35-year-old ban on cinema in Saudi Arabia is being lifted. Cinema halls will be opened at the beginning of this year itself.
