Deleting information on Facebook and what to do

The Dhaka Times Desk Many people are worried about Facebook after the fact that Dunya Jora data was hacked. What will they do if their secret information is really leaked? That's everyone's question. Today there is a discussion about deleting information on Facebook.

According to media reports, new concerns about Facebook's data privacy have been born after the Cambridge Analytica scandal was revealed to the world. Initially, there were complaints about misuse of data of about 5 crore users, this number later stood at about 8.70 crore, Facebook authorities believe.

Facebook users are worried about their data privacy after the world's largest social media revealed such an idea. Now if someone is worried and wants to delete all his data with Facebook, then today's discussion is about what to do.

If you delete the account, your Facebook account will no longer be visible. Another way is to 'deactivate' the account. By this you can get rid of this worry temporarily. You can see all the information again after opening the account.

If someone is concerned that Facebook knows too much data about them, it is considered 'best' for them to remove everything. What to do in such a situation? EA has also been suggested in a report by US media CNBC.

What Facebook always says about account deletion is, “When you delete your account, others will no longer be able to see it on Facebook. It may take up to 90 days after that to begin the process of deleting your photos, status updates, or anything you've posted in a backup system. When we delete this information, no one else on Facebook will be able to see this information.”

It said, “Some things you do on Facebook are not stored in your account. Eg: A friend can still receive messages from you even after deleting your account. This information remains even after your account is deleted.”

After making this deletion request, the user may wish to change his mind. Because of that, the social giant also said that there is a little delay in deleting the information completely. The time to change like this is two days. During this time anyone can also cancel the deletion request by logging in again. But once this time is over, all user data will be gone forever.

The point of caution in this case is that if someone deletes all the data in this whole process then it will not be possible to restart the account, all the data in the account will be lost.

Another thing to remember. But don't think that deleting your account means that Facebook will delete all your data. Some data is never deleted. They will remain in some database. However, Facebook says that those links to an account or someone are simply deleted. That's why it's wise to exercise caution before posting anything on social media.
