Tumor weighing 132 pounds in the woman's body!

The Dhaka Times Desk A huge tumor, which is usually never seen, has been removed from the body of a woman in Connecticut, USA. The removed tumor weighed 132 pounds!

The doctors were shocked after finding this tumor. They said they had never seen such a huge tumor before. The woman's ovary was infected with this cancerous tumor.

The tumor was removed after a long 5-hour surgery at Danbury Hospital in Carnicut. 12 surgeons participated in this operation. CNN has given this information in a report. However, the hospital authorities did not disclose the identity of the tumor-affected woman.

He also said that this tumor was growing in the epithelial cells of the ovary. Doctors find a type of material called gelatin in it. The tumor was detected in the woman's body last November and was operated on in February. The tumor continued to gain an average of 10 pounds per week. The 38-year-old woman could not walk or eat normally due to the tumor.

Describing the time of the surgery, the doctor further said, “When I first entered the pre-operation room, I saw this patient's eyes full of fear and apprehension. The 300-pound patient had a huge 39-inch tumor. He almost gave up hope of life".

Note that in 1991, a tumor weighing 303 pounds was removed at Stanford Hospital in the United States. It was the largest tumor removed in the world. On the other hand, doctors believe that the tumor removed by this woman may be one of the top 10 or 20 heaviest tumors in the world.
