The total number of employees in the head office of this trust is 16 thousand. However, only one-tenth of the temple's annual income comes from the hair donated by devotees.
According to media reports, the temple located in the remote hilly area receives around 75,000 devotees daily. Those devotees offered vows to Lord Benkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. However, capitalizing on this respect and trust of the fans, the business of fake hair is running in hundreds of crores of rupees. Famous Hollywood stars are also regular customers of this hair salon. The hair of devotees entrusted with the hope of spiritual peace continues to supply the glitter, fashion and trends of the materialistic world!
