This particular smartwatch has been unveiled in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm models. In the larger model, i.e. 45 mm model, you will get a 1.4 inch round touchscreen display, along with a 340 mAh battery. Also, this watch has an AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. On the other hand, the smaller model i.e. 41 mm model has a 1.2 inch display and 247 mAh battery. Customers will also get AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection in this model.
It is known that the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will run on the new Tizen OS 5.5 and you will also get a maximum of 1 GB of RAM and a maximum of 8 GB of internal storage. Moreover, Exynos 9110 dual core 1.15 GHz chipset is provided in this smartwatch.
This new smartwatch comes in two variants. The first is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and the second is LTE connectivity. On the other hand, the LTE model also comes with SIM support and 4G connectivity options. Moreover, you can also make calls directly through your smartwatch through the speaker and mic.
On the circular dial of the Galaxy Watch 3, you will also find a rotating bezel and two buttons on the side. Besides, there is a microphone with the button. Galaxy Watch 3 comes with atmospheric pressure sensor, GPS antenna, SpO2 sensor, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyro sensor, touchscreen and speaker. Moreover, smartwatches can measure your blood pressure and heart rate and monitor your sleep. You also get Samsung's Bixby voice assistant.
With the SpO2 sensor, you can know the current oxygen level in your blood through this smartwatch. When infected with corona virus, the oxygen level of the body drops a lot. So from this sensor you can predict to some extent whether your body has been infected with corona virus or not.
There are also many other important features in this Galaxy Watch 3. You will also get ECG monitoring, 5 ATM IP68 water resistant features. A special feature of this watch is the trip or fall detection feature. With this feature, a message will be sent to the set emergency number as soon as you faint. This message will be sent if you don't respond at all within a minute, or even if you're sick. This feature will ring on your watch for 1 minute and if you don't respond within that time then that message will be sent.
The 41mm model of the new Galaxy Watch 3 will cost upwards of $399.99. The 45mm model will cost $429.
