The Dhaka Times Desk Singer Asif Akbar's biography book 'Akbar Fifty Not Out' has been signed.
The signing of the agreement between writer Sohail Atal, vocalist Asif Akbar and publisher Samsha Saash Publications was held recently in a formal ceremony. Nazmul Huda Ratan, head of Saash Publications, has signed a book publishing deal with the writer and artist.
The contract signing ceremony was live streamed from singer Asif Akbar's verified Facebook page. There Asif Akbar said, 'This biography book 'Akbar Fifty Not Out' is about all the published and unpublished issues of my life. Many controversial issues are also included in this book. Writer Sohail Atal has worked tirelessly for the past 9 months and interviewed nearly 200 people. Went to many places. I hope that through this book he will be able to give a complete picture of my fifty years of life.
It is known that Saash Publications is planning to publish the book through the colorful publication festival on March 31. They have plans to publish the book from Kolkata as well as Bangladesh. English version of the book will also be published later. Also the audio version of the book will be released soon.
