It is reported that the potato is currently being exhibited at the week-long release festival and Golden Jubilee Fair under the supervision of the Upazila Agriculture Office.
In the afternoon of March 21, the farmer of Dhatur Pahela village of Mogra union of the upazila. This sweet potato is grown from Hossain Mia's land. Farmer Hossain Mia's father's name is Reju Mia.
Regarding this potato, farmer Hossain Miah said that he had planted red sweet potato vines of Sindhi species on the advice of the agriculture office on 15 percent of the land. After the planting of potato vines, the yield in the field is 6-7 months. He started digging the soil to pick potatoes from the land. At first I didn't realize it was sweet potato. Later after enthusiastically removing the soil from around the potato, he was surprised. Then when the huge sweet potato was picked up, there was a sensation in the area. After weighing, it is found that the weight of this potato is 5 kg 100 grams. As soon as this news spread, many people from far and wide flocked to my house to see the potato.
