Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan informed this information in a press conference on Wednesday (March 22). He said, 'Eid tickets will be sold in advance from April 7. All tickets for Eid trip and return will be sold 100% online. Moreover, the sale of Eid return tickets will start from April 17.
Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan also said that ahead of Eid, the international train Mithali Express will be closed from April 18-27 and Maitri Express from April 20-27. Also, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said that 9 pairs of special trains will run this year to reduce the pressure on Eid.
Meanwhile, it is known that not only Eid tickets, but all tickets will have to be purchased online from April 1. Railway authorities have decided to sell 100% tickets online.
