On the other hand, the head of Good Meat, Jose Tetri, said that such a move would be considered very important in the world's largest economy.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved lab-grown meat in November last year.
Earlier in 2020, Singapore approved the sale of lab-grown meat. However, this meat has not gained much popularity in the general market.
