Poor Man's Hotel 'Robin Hood'

Add the price of meat to the price of rice and it really becomes a luxury for low income people. Although it is a basic need, many families cannot buy it. But in the hotel named 'Robin Hood' in Tangail Sadar, poor people are giving food for free.

Here every Friday after Jumma Namaz chicken meat rice and dal is arranged for about 200 people. Many coolie day laborers and poor poor people are able to save a portion of their income by consuming this food.

Originally, the owner of Nirala Hotel in Tangail city, Mirza Rubol, started this poor hotel Robin Hood on his own initiative. Once upon a time Robin Hood Hotel used to provide food for poor people every day. In the first case, the hotel cooked for 20-30 people per day. He fed the poor people every day with a certain part of the hotel's profits. But as the number of these people increased day by day, he later organized meat and dal rice for 180-200 people only on Friday afternoon.

But if the wealthy come forward, this arrangement can be done every day. Organizers believe it is possible to run the Robin Hood Hotel in Tangail for 150-200 people per day if financial support is received.
