Misamari-Tenga-Tawang, Bame-Silapathar of North Lakhimpur, Pasighat-Teju-Parashuram Kund-Rupai are also being built. This bridge is mainly being built to send army soldiers and weapons to the border quickly.
According to a media report, the Center approved this mega rail project in December 2015. In all, the total length will be 1350 km. This railway line will be extended very close to Doklam.
