The country started an operation to rescue 12 teenage footballers and their coach from 10 am local time on July 8

The Dhaka Times Desk Recently, the news discussed in the media is the youth football team of Thailand trapped in a cave. But why did the young footballers of Thailand go into the cave? That question is on everyone's mind.

Eight of the 13 people trapped in caves in Thailand have been rescued (as of Monday evening). The operation is suspended for the night, tomorrow (Tuesday) the 5 people including the remaining 4 juveniles will be rescued. The children were treated immediately after the rescue. Reports have been published in various media citing the people involved in the rescue operation.

Yesterday Sunday (July 8) from 10 am local time, the country's highly skilled diving team started the rescue operation of 12 teenage footballers and their coach. The rescue team reportedly includes 13 foreign divers and 5 divers from the Thai Navy. Yesterday 4 people and today 4 more people have been rescued total 8 people.

Everyone has the same curiosity about the teenage footballers trapped in the cave in Thailand - why did they go so far inside the cave?

Canadian media Global News said, they didn't want to go that deep. They may have been forced to move inside for safe shelter as the exit of the cave was submerged by rainwater. As the water rose inside the cave, they had to move.

It is known that they are currently located 4 km inside the 10 km long Tham Luang Nang Non cave. Water has accumulated in many places that come out of the cave. They have to swim out from there. First they tried to teach them scuba diving. It is currently planned that divers will take them out.

Illustrations published by the Thai News Agency show children being supplied with oxygen underwater from divers' oxygen cylinders. The group has been sheltering for the past two weeks in the dry high ground of a flooded cave. 18 experienced divers are working to rescue them.

According to media reports, each teenager is being brought out by two divers under their supervision. It takes them about 6 hours to cross the entire route. If all goes well, the 13 trapped people are expected to be brought out in two to three days.

The children's families reported that their soccer coach would sometimes take them swimming after practice, and sometimes on trips. One such day was last June 23, the day they entered the cave.

The teenage boys went to the National Park around 10am local time to practice football. No one knows what happened after that. An employee of the Nanganan National Park found 11 bicycles parked in front of the entrance to the cave.

Then the parents of one of the teenage workers told the National Park officials that they too could not have any contact with their son.

It is believed that they entered the cave to organize a surprise party for a member of the football team after practice.

However, someone on social media said that the coach should not have entered the Tham Luang Nang Non cave with those children aged 11 to 16 years. The reason is that there are signboards drawn at the mouth of the cave warning that the cave becomes waterlogged during monsoons. However, the coach is barred from feeling guilty on behalf of the children's families. They don't think it's the coach's fault.

May the children be rescued safely and returned to their parents - we wish the same.
