When many devices are connected to each other through the Internet and data is exchanged between them, that system is called IoT. Those devices can be your home TV, refrigerator, washing machine, bathroom faucet, door lock, starting from a city. Traffic signal, streetlight system, GPS etc. In short, almost all devices can be covered.
How IoT will work:
This technology will basically work by creating a networking system consisting of some electronic devices, sensors and software. Sensors provide information based on the movement of people or any object and process it and send it from one device to another. This is how an IoT system works. Improvements in networking technology allow these new smart devices to connect to the Internet.
But, what is the benefit of connecting the refrigerator to the Internet, will it have a Facebook account? No, but the advantage is that these devices can now communicate with each other, and communicate with many other things to make smart decisions. Suppose you go to the market but you don't remember what's in the fridge. So there is a little problem to market. But if your fridge is connected to IOT, then you will get that information from the market through certain apps about what is kept in your fridge. And this information will be provided to you by the refrigerator itself.
Suppose your door lock is covered by IOT system. Suddenly came out for some urgent work. Then you remembered you forgot to lock your room. No tension, you can lock your room through certain apps sitting far away. Woke up at 5 am to the sound of the alarm. After this you will take a bath in hot water. But the heater takes 30 minutes to heat the water. This will keep your heater IoT connected and hot water for you before you wake up. Meanwhile, the automated coffee maker will make coffee for you on time. Maybe your bathroom will play you music as you take a shower.
All these works will be done through IOT system. Even when you enter the office you have to open the gate with finger print. But today your attendance sheet is getting present through this finger print. In the future the use of this IOT will be so widespread that almost all devices will be IOT connected. By the year 2022, about 1 trillion more sensors will be connected to the Internet, that is, IoT will expand further.
