The Dhaka Times Desk It is difficult to find an educated person who does not know about the revolutionary Che Guevara. The Bolivian newspaper La Razón published some of Che Guevara's personal letters, unpublished photos and documents.
On June 17, the newspaper brought out a special issue of 20 pages with all those letters and pictures of Che. They were secretly stored by the country's army since 1967.
Published images are black and white. The released documents include information provided by retired Bolivian military officers about Che Guevara's possessions.
Notable published material includes photographs of Argentine-born German guerrilla Heidi Tamara Bank. A letter written by the guerrilla known as Tanya has also been released. The letter was written by him to Damaso Lescaille, a Cuban companion during the rebellion. But it fell into the hands of Bolivian troops who surrounded the rebels.
Tanya was the only woman who fought alongside Che Guevara. Historians have confirmed that this is his letter. Part of the letter read, 'As you must know, I love big challenges. I go over those obstacles too.'
It should be noted that the revolutionary Che Guevara was killed by the Bolivian army on October 8, 1967. The army has kept the rebel letters as 'war prizes' for so long. Almost 50 years after the death of this Argentine-born revolutionary leader, these letters, unpublished photos and documents were released. AFP.
