I am saying first. The bill amount for the month you pay the bill should be in your Bkash account. Then you can pay the bill by following the steps below.
1. First dial *247# on your mobile.
2. Pay Bill number 5 will appear here, so press 5 and click on Send button.
3. Electricity is written at number 1 here. So press 1 and click on Send button.
4. Then the option that will appear there is PALLI BIDYUT written in number 1. So press 1 and click on Send button.
5. Now the option that will appear is Pay Bill number 2. So press 2 and click on Send button.
6. Here Input Bill A/C Number is written in number 1. So press 1 and click on Send button.
7. Now type your electricity bill account number and click on send button.
8. Now enter the text Enter BIll Month and Year and type the number of the month and year of the month in which you will pay the bill and click the Send button. (E.g. type 032018 for March, 2018 bill or 122018 for December, 2018 bill. Here the first two digits from the left indicate the month and the next 4 digits indicate the year)
9. Now enter amount, type the amount of the bill and then click the send button.
10. Now the text that will be seen on the display is Bill payment to Palli Bidyut and check the account number of the bill, name of the month and the amount of the bill and type the secret pin number of your development and click on Send button.
Your work is done. Now two sms will come on your phone. The first one will indicate that your request has been accepted and the 2nd one will have a TRX ID indicating that your bill payment has been completed. Now you write that TRX ID number on your bill for that month along with the bill payment date. This number can be useful if there is any problem later.
