However, scientists have now found an animal that urinates through its mouth. This particular animal is a Chinese soft-shelled turtle. This species of turtle uses its mouth to pass urine.
According to a National Geographic report, "an animal has been discovered on earth that urinates through its mouth."
Researchers at the National University of Singapore, while conducting various experiments on some species of turtles in China for a few years, noticed that a species of soft-shelled turtle has a kind of net in its mouth.
They first hypothesized that this species of turtle may use these webs to regulate respiration. However, this idea of the researchers has been proved wrong and it has been discovered that the turtles of this species do not use these webs for breathing but for passing urine. We all know about the animal that excretes through the mouth. That is a bat. However, this is the first animal to urinate through the mouth.
This strange information has surprised all the scientists. This discovery by scientists has changed the history of the world's fauna. Once again, how diverse and mysterious the fauna is proved.
