Genghis Khan was born sometime between 1150 and 1160 (alternately 1162) to the Borzhigin clan on the banks of the Onan River (Mongolia). His birth name was Temujin. But he received the title of Genghis Khan (the Great) in 1206. It is said that Temujin was born with blood on his hands. Which is a sign of future leaders according to their traditions and customs.
He learned to ride a horse at a young age. Even at the age of six, he went on hunting expeditions with his tribe. When he was nine years old, his father was poisoned and the entire family left homeless. After his father's death, however, he wanted to succeed him as the patriarch. But due to immature age, it did not happen anymore. But he has to take care of his family. During this time he killed his half brother. And go to jail. After being released from prison, the knowledge he received from his mother at that age, his own family, and later that experience became the path for him.
And around 1206 – 1368 he united the Mongol clans, then founded the Mongol Empire. It was the largest empire in the world in recent history. . From an ordinary patriarch, he created a huge army under his leadership. Although in some parts of the world, Genghis Khan is known as a very ruthless and bloodthirsty conqueror. Yet in Mongolia he is respected as a prominent figure and loved by all. Before becoming a khan, Genghis united the many nomadic tribes of East and Central Asia under a common social identity. And socially this race came to be known as Mongolian.
After overthrowing the Mongol nation, he came out to conquer the world at the age of 40-50. First he defeated the Jin Dynasty, then he learned the basics of military diplomacy from China. Western Xia, the Jin dynasty of northern China, the Khorezmian Empire of Persia, and parts of Eurasia were occupied in turn. The territories occupied by the Mongol Empire are modern: China, Mongolia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Moldova, South Korea, North Korea, and Kuwait. Even after his death, his sons and grandsons ruled the Mongol Empire for about 150 years.
This Mongolian hero is still remembered by the West for his conquests; And the countrymen remember him for what he created. It was through his hands that the East first came into contact with the West. Improved postal communication, circulation of paper money, religious freedom all happened under his hands.
Joy's beginning in his life was rescuing his wife from kidnappers. And since then as he has conquered kingdom after kingdom, enthralling the natives. Similarly, terror is created around him for his brutality.
It should be noted here that in 1222, Genghis Khan killed 1.6 million people in Herat, Afghanistan with only arrows, spears and short swords. More than 4 million people were killed by his forces during the establishment of the empire. At the same time it is said again that he is also responsible for the death of 4 crore innocent people. Because the history of this founder of the Mongol Empire is full of kidnapping, bloodshed, love and revenge. Genghis Khan conquered nearly a quarter of the world in the thirteenth century. His method of conquering the kingdom was horrible. Before conquering a city, its inhabitants were ordered to surrender unconditionally. If that was not accepted, the blockade would begin. Then once upon a time ambushes were carried out on the starving townspeople.
He is also known as the greatest robber and winner in history. You can understand that he was an efficient ruler, an organizer, a popular leader, a shrewd warrior and a brutal murderer.
Now it's time to talk about his grave.
Why has not yet been found in his tomb?
Such a great man in history! So famous, so criticized, he died, and no one knows where his grave is. How is that possible? Is it believable at all? But even if it is difficult to believe, it must be believed. Indeed, no trace of his tomb has been found. Not even much is known about those who buried him. What an event. Let's find out as far as we know.
Genghis Khan died by falling from his horse in 1227, in China. Isn't it strange? A man considered to be so mighty, who fell off a horse and died so trivially! Anyway, back to the main discussion.
After his death, his body was brought from China to Mongolia. and was buried. But where? Genghis Khan died, but history did not. The mystery begins here. From here the beginning of a bigger history.
According to the emperor's last wishes, he was buried in an undisclosed location in Mongolia. And it is known that when the mourning soldiers walked the streets of Mongolia with the body of Genghis Khan, they killed everyone they met on the way. Besides, everyone present at his funeral was killed. Because they didn't want to have any witnesses to the burial site. Even Genghis Khan's tomb was erased by the soldiers. For this they drove a thousand horses over the tomb. So that the upper part of his grave mingles with the dust. And deep forests are created by planting trees there.
According to another account, before his death, another group of soldiers from Genghis Khan's army killed 2,500 laborers engaged in digging his grave. And those soldiers were later killed by another group of soldiers from his army who were not present at the burial site.
So a great history was wiped out. But why are you so careful with this grave! The mystery is not over yet. Where is the grave, it could not be found. However, there is a faint suggestion that Genghis Khan's tomb is located near some inaccessible mountain in Inner Mongolia. But the question is elsewhere. One man died, that could have been the end. But why so much research on the grave? And why was it wiped out? Although the Mongols do not want their emperor's peaceful sleep! So even though they are not so explicit about it, even if they are not looking for it, this grave has been searched in different ways at different times!
But what is in this tomb?
Genghis Khan, many people in the world believe that the tomb of Genghis Khan has priceless jewels!
Thousands of lives were lost in erasing a grave, while the Mongolians also do not want the secret of this grave to be revealed. Still searching but why? So is that idea right? Some historians say that Genghis Khan's tomb is a treasure trove of half the world's wealth!
However, this much is understood, all the wealth that Genghis Khan looted throughout his life is left in this tomb. It is believed that the crowns of the conquered 78 kings are kept there.
And as far as is known, in 1990, the head of the Department of Archeology of Ulaanbaatar State University, located in the capital of Mongolia. Dimazab Ardenebatari took an initiative. The name of this joint initiative with Japan was 'Three Rivers Project'. But that too failed. This mysterious grave has not been found. This huge treasure remains untouched!
