The Dhaka Times Desk 15 years ago. Director Ispahani Arif Jahan produced a film called 'Nayak' with protagonist Manna and Purnima. After a long time, the two directors again produced a film with the same name.
The director is reluctant to call this new film a sequel to the previous hero. The producer said that 'Nayak' has been made with a new story. Bappi, the popular hero of Dhakai film, and newcomer Adhra Khan have acted as a pair in this film.
When the film was submitted to the Censor Board on September 20, it received untalked censors. Popular actress Moushumi played a special role in the film. Moushumi will be seen in the role of Adhara's elder sister.
On September 16, the song 'Elomelo' of 'Nayak' was released on YouTube. Due to lack of publicity, the song did not receive much response but Baba Yadav's choreography in the song sung by Imran and Kanar was well appreciated. Bappi Chowdhury and heroine newcomer Adhra Khan have acted in the central roles of the movie 'Nayak'.
Heroine Adhara said, 'Nayak' is a dream project for all of us. Especially to me. So I have high expectations for the film. The Censor Board has cleared the film without any cuts which is a great news for the Nayak team. Now I am waiting for the release. Hope the audience will accept the film 'Nayak'.
The film is produced by Yadoorkathi Media. The story of the film is written by Delwar Jahan Dil. Also acted by Amit Hasan, Aman Reza, Nusrat Jahan Papia and others.
