The picture you are looking at is the Baitul Qur'an Mosque in Bahrain. Various activities are conducted in this highly functional mosque.
Basically it is a multifunctional complex. Various activities are conducted in it. The most famous activity is the Institute of Quran Studies. It is basically a museum. Where many copies of the Quran are preserved.
A copy of the Quran written by Hazrat Uthman (RA) is preserved at the very front. A Latin translation of the Quran printed in 955 AD is also preserved here. The construction of this mosque complex was completed in 1984. However, the museum was opened to the public in 1990.
