'Maya Masnad' based on fairy tales is starting on NTV

The Dhaka Times Desk Bangladesh's first VFX and 3D graphics based mega fantasy serial 'Maya Masnad' is starting on NTV.

It is hard to find a person who does not like fairy tales. Once upon a time fairy tales like Sindabad, Alif Laila were welcomed by the audience in this country. But these stories were completely foreign. This time, Bangladesh's first VFX and 3D graphics based mega fantasy series 'Maya Masnad' is made based on fairy tales. The play is being produced by White Balance Production House under the banner of Media Impressions and Ghasfoding Productions. The drama will be aired on NTV every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 8:20 PM.

A premiere show was organized at NTV's Tejgaon studio to promote the play on Saturday evening. Drama artistes, crews, advertisers, well-wishers and many visitors were present there. The trailer and promo of the play were shown on the occasion.

The head of NTV program department, Mustafa Kamal Syed, said, "People are always interested in fairy tales. We read these stories in childhood. There is a special fun to be found in Rajarani's characters. The reason is that we all want to be like a king, like a queen. That's why we like fairy tales, we used to like Alif Laila. I think 'Maya Masnad' will also be liked by everyone. We like to give visitors something different. Making a VFX and 3D graphics-based fairy tale is really challenging. Before the start of shooting, I had faith that the work would be good. But the production of the drama has been good.

Director of 'Maya Masnad' drama SM Salah Uddin said, 'We have produced this serial only for entertainment. The audience will not be disappointed by the play. It can be assured that the audience will be thoroughly entertained. We want to bring viewers home from foreign channels. That is why this play has been planned and produced with a good budget.

The starrer drama based on the fairy tale is written by Arindam Guha. The episode director of the drama is Atiqur Rahman Belal and the scenes are directed by Maksudul Haque Imu, VFX Supervisor Tanim Shahriar.

Sohail Rana, Saberi Alam, Shatabdi Wadud, Golam Farida Chanda, Shampa Reza, Abid Rehan, Shashi, Niloy Alamgir, Moushumi Nag, Namira Mou, Momena Chowdhury, Syed Shubhra, Elora Gahar, Shilpi Sarkar acted in various roles in the play 'Maya Masnad'.
