Although King Salman did not say anything directly about Jamal Khashoggi's murder in his speech, he expressed his confidence in Saudi Arabia's judicial system, saying that he believes that he (Khashoggi's) murder can be brought to justice.
However, the king made it clear in his speech that the reforms undertaken by the Saudi crown prince will continue.

Meanwhile, the CIA has already claimed that the Saudi crown prince ordered the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Analyzing Prince Salman's influence in Saudi Arabia, the CIA said such an assassination could not have taken place without his permission.
Previously, Turkey had repeatedly accused the involvement of the Saudi prince in this murder.
It is to be noted that Jamal Khashoggi, an exiled journalist from Saudi Arabia, went missing while taking necessary documents from the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey on October 2. The Turkish government claims it has audio recordings of Jamal Khashoggi's murder. The media has already reported that the audio recording has been given to the Saudi authorities and the United States.
While initially denying the murder, the Saudi government later admitted that journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed in a 'clash' inside the consulate. The Saudi government arrested 18 officers for this murder.
