Tensions have been high between the two countries for the past few weeks over the Pulwama attack in Kashmir. Both the countries have been claiming that they have attacked each other's country. At one stage of this, Pakistan announced the ban of Indian movies.
It has been said that from now on no Indian movies can be shown in Pakistan. It is reported that the Pakistan Film Authority has taken this decision. Pakistan's Information Minister Fawad Chowdhury gave this information on Twitter.
It is to be noted that 44 soldiers were killed when separatists attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy in Awantipura, Pulwama, Kashmir on February 14. At least more than 40 people were injured.
In response, the Indian Air Force launched an attack across Pakistan's border on Tuesday. India claimed that 300 militants were killed. However, Pakistan rejected these claims of India. On the other hand, Pakistan claimed that India attacked India on Wednesday because of border violation.
