It is said that about two hundred years ago, the jinns themselves hired workers and built this mosque in one night with thousands of jinns working together late at night.

This is what the elders of the area have claimed while talking about the history and tradition of this old mosque. Locals said that the area was high and pyramid shaped. The people of the area used to pray at that time by building a small mosque house in the forest. But suddenly one morning everyone woke up to see that the Jinn completed the construction of the mosque with this style of construction in one night. The next day, the local people suddenly saw this mosque above the ground.

It is said that at that time, many pilgrims used to come from far and wide to visit the mosque and pray there. In the evolution of time, no one has helped in the renovation of the mosque day after day. As the reason, the local residents said that since the mosque was built by Jinn, they are the ones who take care of this mosque. If necessary, the jinn will repair the mosque. Local residents remain silent due to this misconception. Because of this, almost two hundred years have passed! Gradually the construction styles of mosques also started to fade. The construction style of this mosque, built by the hands of the so-called jinn, is crumbling. Day after day and years have passed but the renovation work of the mosque has not been done. This is how the days of this hundred years old mosque passed. After that, the number of Muslims offering prayers in the mosque gradually decreased. A mosque was built just 100 yards before this mosque. which still exists. Even though such a big mosque was built here by the so-called jinns, even today, the small mosque built by human hands as a memorial has not been demolished by the local people.

If you want to see the mosque of this Jinn, you have to go to the district town of Thakurgaon. After passing 12 km from Thakurgaon on the Panchagarh-Thakurgaon highway, get down at a place called Bhulli Bazar and head towards Panchpir for only 7 km, you will see the small Balia historical Jame Masjid.

The locals think that if the mosque is renovated with the direct responsibility of the government and the role of the government sponsor, it will be possible to keep this mosque of the famous Jinn in a more construction style and keep it alive for thousands of years.
