The University of the West of England in the United Kingdom is offering a special opportunity to pursue a PhD in chocolate. The university authorities have also announced that they will give a grant of 15,000 pounds per year to those who are interested in completing the entire course.
It has been informed that under this course research on the 'genetic factors' of chocolate has to be done, to know where that special 'flavour' comes from.
Those who get the chance to do this PhD will also have to work on the structure of the cocoa bean, the source of chocolate's special flavor.
This 3-year long PhD program has been developed in response to the demands of the chocolate industry. They want to know better about different types of cocoa.
Interested students should apply to the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences at the University of Bristol by the 27th.
