The Dhaka Times Desk New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has commented that all countries of the world need to fight together to root out extreme right-wing and racist ideologies.

A gunman attacked a mosque in Christchurch last Friday, killing 50 people and injuring many more. Funerals for the victims were held across the country yesterday (Wednesday).
Asked about the rise of ultra-radical nationalist sentiment, Ms Ardern said: "In New Zealand we never believe in that kind of ideology. To associate this mentality with the people of New Zealand would be an insult to most New Zealanders."
Ardern said, this type of ``mindset needs to be addressed and steps taken to prevent it from spreading''.
"But I want to make a call to the world that people here in New Zealand have been victims of violence by someone who was exposed to and practiced his radical ideology outside of New Zealand," Ardern said.
"If we want to see a safe and tolerant world, we should not think about borders," said Meez. Ardern.
"People are always welcome in our country," Ardern said, praising New Zealand's role in accepting refugees.
"I reject the idea that by welcoming people who call New Zealand their country, we are creating an environment for that (extremist) ideology to spread," Ardern said.
The announcement that the name of the suspected gunman should not be released. Ardern has given, she is steadfast in that promise.
Ms Ardern said: "There were many things he wanted to achieve through his terrorist activities, one of which was notoriety - so we will never mention his name."
