The pigeon sold at the auction was named Armando. This pigeon is the longest ranged 'racer' pigeon of all time in Belgium. The pigeon was bought by a Chinese citizen.
According to the report of the news agency AFP, this special pigeon was sold for a record 1.2 million 52 thousand euros. The pigeon was sold at a price of around 12 million taka in Bangladeshi currency!
