The first wife's family has filed a case against Sanaullah Noor under Section 1 of the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal for marrying the second wife without the first wife's permission. A case and arrest warrant has also been issued against Noor on the charge of torturing women and children. The case was filed by the first wife's mother (Noor's mother-in-law). Sanaullah Noor's father Sakhawat Hossain and mother Suraiya have also been made accused in the case. Sanaullah Noor's first wife Pushmi's mother Dilara Khanam has filed this case in Cox's Bazar Women and Child Torture Prevention Tribunal-1.

His mother Dilara Khanam paid Tk 10 lakh in 3 installments. With that money, Sanaullah Noori Sagar was also admitted to study Bar and Law in London.
Salma said in this regard, 'I have seen the Dirvos paper of Sagar's previous marriage. They got their dirvos last year. Then how to claim the wife again? What is the oppression of women? I think they are doing this to destroy our privacy. As my husband is out of the country. When he returns, the matter will be resolved. Since I am being defamed by such news, I will file a defamation case against them as soon as possible.'
Salma also said, 'I talk to my father-in-law all the time. They said these are fake news. I spoke to the local police station. OC said that there is no arrest warrant in the name of Sanaullah Noori Sagar. So why are we being harassed this lie.'
Sagar said through Salma from London, 'I called Samla after seeing the news. We both laughed. As I am out of country. I will return home in a few days. Then everything will be clear.'
