The Dhaka Times Desk A thief named Anand climbed the dab tree to quench his thirst in the intense heat. But the result was not happy at all. Instead, the Tulkalam case happened. In the end, he was brought down by three forces!

Anand Kumar Das, a 30-year-old man, climbed a nearly 200 feet tall coconut tree to quench his thirst. He climbed the tree and could not come down. However, he survived after several hours of efforts by fire service, police, electricity department and locals.
An incident that happened in Kuliarchar Upazila Sadar of Kishoreganj last April 27 around noon. Anand Kumar Das, who escaped certain death, is the son of Nitai Kumar Das of Das Para village in Kuliarchar upazila.
According to local sources, Anand cheated on stealing the dubbing due to extreme heat. On that day at around 12:30 noon, he went to pick dab from a tall coconut tree in the Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) campus located in Kuliarchar Sadar. Climbed the tree and fell into trouble while tearing off some cans. After climbing the tall tree, his body gradually became dull. So he did not have the courage and strength to come down. He got stuck at the base of coconut leaves!
A unit of Kuliarchar police station and fire service reached the spot after receiving the information. After trying for about two hours, the fire service personnel brought him down alive from the coconut tree with the help of a big ladder.
Abdul Hai Talukder, OC of Kuliarchar police station said, Anand has confessed about dubbing.
He also said that he did not have the courage to come down from the coconut tree due to extreme heat. The incident created quite a stir in the area.
Station Officer of Kuliarchar Fire Service. Abul Kalam said, 'This is the first incident of someone getting stuck in a coconut tree. We do not have any ladder to go to the spot after receiving the information and lower it from 200 feet. So we brought him down safely with the power ladder and our long rope.'
