A total of 450 people live in Kaddoni village. Villagers complain that they are not getting any services from the administration like water demand. Veerabhadra Hiremath, the priest of the Maruti temple in the village, said, "We get gold from the soil, but we don't get water."
Although some of the villagers are saying, where will the government get the water from? There is no water even under dry soil. There is no point in just blaming them.
Even though water tankers are coming every day, they are not able to meet the needs of the residents. Long lines for water, each family bringing 12 or more water containers to meet demand. Apart from drinking this water, this water is also used for other purposes.
Many people have left the village and started living elsewhere to get rid of this poor condition of Kaddoni area. Village elders claim that most of the people have left for the Huthi gold mine.
