While America has pushed away Chinese tech company Huawei, Russia has made it a 'friend'. Putin's country's telecom firm MTS has already signed an agreement with the company to launch 5G. The Trump administration initially expelled Huawei out of fear of this 5G.
According to a BBC report, MTS will work with Huawei to develop next-generation 5G networks in Russia in the coming years. The agreement was reached during the Chinese president's three-day visit to Russia.
It should be noted that the company fell into danger after the American company Google recently canceled the operating system agreement with Huawei. Donald Trump's country imposed several other restrictions on Huawei. Russia's deal is a big relief for Huawei, which has suffered financial losses from America's behavior.
The American complaint is that this Chinese company is stealing their country's national information. They were especially afraid of the 5G network. Any phone company can hack any citizen's phone on this network at any time.
However, Huawei has always called the American complaint baseless.
