Advance sale of Eid-ul-Azhar train tickets will start on July 29

The Dhaka Times Desk On the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, advance ticket sales of Bangladesh Railway will start on July 29. Advance tickets will be sold simultaneously from 5 places including Kamalapur in the capital.

On the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, advance ticket sales of Bangladesh Railway will start on July 29. Advance tickets will be sold simultaneously from 5 places including Kamalapur in the capital. Giving this information, the Director General of Railways Samsuzzaman said that these decisions were taken in the meeting held on Eid management at the railway building. Details will be given later in a press conference.

As per the decision, tickets will be issued from the stations:

# Kamalapur railway station will sell tickets for intercity trains via Yamuna Bridge for the entire western region.

# airport station will be issued tickets for all intercity trains bound for Chittagong and Noakhali.

Train tickets for Mymensingh and Jamalpur will be sold from # Tejgaon station.

Tickets for Mohanganj and Howr Express bound for Netrokona will be sold from # Banani station.

# Sylhet and Kishoreganj bound train tickets will be sold from Fulbaria (Old Railway Building) in the capital.

It has been informed that the sale of tickets will continue from 9 am to 4 pm every day.

Director General of Railways Samsuzzaman said, according to the decision, advance ticket sales are starting from July 29. Each passenger cannot collect more than 4 tickets. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, 8 pairs of special trains of the railways will also run. The trains are –

Dewanganj Eid Special (one pair) 'Dhaka-Dewanganj-Dhaka'.
Chandpur Eid Special (two pairs), 'Chittagong-Chandpur-Chittagong'.
Khulna Eid Special, 'Khulna-Dhaka-Khulna' by Maitri Rake.
Ishwardi Eid Special, 'Dhaka-Ishwardi-Dhaka'.
Lalmonirhat Eid Special, 'Lalmonirhat-Dhaka-Lalmonirhat'.
Sholakia Special- 'Bhairobazar-Kishorganj-Bhairobazar'.
Sholakia Special, 'Mymensingh-Kishorganj-Mymensingh'.

It has also been informed that there will be no weekly closure of all inter-city trains from 5 days before Eid till the day before Eid.
