After the release, the movie made history. The lion 'Simba' in this musical animation movie has won the hearts of billions of viewers. The movie made at a cost of Tk 383 crores made around Tk 9000 crores at the box office. On the other hand, this movie is one of the most successful movies in the history of Hollywood. Only 88 minutes long, this movie was inducted into the US National Film Registry in the Library of Congress in 2016.
The film is said to be 'culturally, historically and artistically significant.' Not only that, this movie also won two Oscars. Walt Disney Pictures is remaking this movie to glorify these achievements.
'The Lion King' was released internationally on 19 July. Bangladeshi viewers will be able to watch the movie at Dhaka's Star Cineplex from July 26. 'The Lion King' has already received a huge response in India. Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh is in the Hindi version of the movie. 'Lion Mufasa' will be the son of Shah Rukh Khan and Lion Mufasa, and the main character 'Lion Simba' will be Shah Rukh's son Aryan Khan. But they will not be seen. The reason is that Mufasa and Simba will be voiced by Shahrukh and Junior Shahrukh.
