The Dhaka Times Desk A group of researchers from the University of Mannheim in Germany published a new information after conducting a survey on more than 67 thousand people. According to the data, Muslims are the happiest in this world because they believe in the Oneness of Allah.
According to a report by the UK newspaper Daily Mail, Muslims are followed by Christians, Buddhists and Hindus respectively in this list of the happiest. Atheists on the other hand are the most unhappy people. The paper was published in the Journal of the American Psychological Association.
The paper also states that depression and anxiety never overwhelm Muslims as belief in the monotheism of Allah influences them. Muslims have a lot of compassion for people. That is why the tendency of suicide is very less among them.
Based on the survey and the opinions of other researchers, this research paper was prepared by Dr. Mannheim University psychologist. Laura Marie Edinger-Sconce.
According to this researcher, one thing is clear in the results of the research that there is a direct relationship between monotheism and human satisfaction. The findings of the study further expand the field of psychological knowledge about religion.
According to the researchers, this not only shows the average level of monotheistic belief of different religious groups, but also the effect of religion on their satisfaction.
