The Dhaka Times Desk Recently, there is a tension in the entire world over the Kashmir issue. Various talks with India are also being heard. But this time the European Union is discussing about Kashmir.
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi directly rejected the media reports that Pakistan is trying to negotiate with India on the Kashmir issue. This information was given in a news of Dawn Online.
He gave this information while addressing the Hindu community gathered at the Shiv Mandir in Umerkot on the border last Saturday. He said, "This rally is not a political rally, but it has sent a clear message to the fascist Narendra Modi government that Hindus and non-Muslims of Pakistan are with the people of Kashmir."
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that tomorrow (Monday) the European Union will discuss the Kashmir issue. India has tried hard to stop this discussion.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the very next day, a large number of people will gather in London's Hyde Park to meet the Indian High Commissioner, human rights activists and British parliamentarians on the Kashmir issue. He himself will soon visit Geneva to raise the Kashmir issue.
On the other hand, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the UN General Assembly on September 27 on the Kashmir issue. This time the whole world will see the position of Pakistan.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that no matter what level of repression is carried out in Indian Occupied Kashmir, the voice of Kashmiris, who have been under curfew for the past few weeks, cannot be suppressed in any way.
The Pakistani foreign minister also told the crowd at Umerkot that he had gone there as per the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Mehmood Qureshi said a strong message has already been sent to Modi and Jai Shankar from this rally. And that is, they cannot stand for Kashmiri people in any way. However, the Pakistani foreign minister has also come to the side of Hindus.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that the Indian government is also preventing Kashmiri Muslims from offering prayers. But in Pakistan, all non-Muslims can worship freely in their places of worship. According to Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the Indian government is emptying the mosques. But in Pakistan, respect is being shown to the temples.
