With that, YouTube may lose their popularity to Google. Along with YouTube videos, a big part of it is the advertising system. If this continues, many big brands and companies may withdraw from YouTube advertising. Even earlier, Google started cracking down on bad content as it caused many advertisers to withdraw their ads from YouTube and from the YouTube platform.
Samsung and Procter & Gamble are among the most frequent advertisers on Google. These two companies spend the most money on Google advertising. Google took a tougher stance in 2017 after some big bands complained about YouTube showing their ads alongside fake content. Due to such indifference, YouTube has cut off their advertising and communications from YouTube for almost two years. Many big brands have warned YouTube to protect their reputation by threatening to not run ads if ads are shown on bad content.
YouTube is Google's biggest source of advertising revenue. Due to the problem of content, many people expressed the opinion that besides YouTube, the problem of Google will be the most. Google has recently focused on cloud services and has been developing various cloud features, but advertising revenue is still Google's largest source of income. According to various studies, in the second quarter of 2019, about 84 percent of Google's Alphabet came through advertising.
At present, the audience of traditional Pay TV has started to decrease at a noticeable rate, as a result of which various institutions and organizations are leaning towards digital advertising. Rising video ad spending means YouTube's market potential grows. And using this opportunity, YouTube can earn billions to billions of dollars. But this fake content can stand in the way of their huge success. However, as a competitor to YouTube in the digital video sector, Facebook-Twitter is moving ahead with the goal of making money in this sector. Now Facebook, Twitter and various other social media have launched this advertising system. Facebook has launched a special Video Watch section for video advertisers to enable them to launch their own advertising medium alongside YouTube.
