China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement protesting the visit of Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Arunachal Pradesh. It says, 'China will never recognize Arunachal Pradesh as part of India. It is basically the southern Tibet of China. Here all the activities of the Indian leaders will be strongly opposed. So India should not take any provocative steps to maintain peace in the region'.

This statement was given on November 15. Earlier, India's neighbor China had objected several times to Arunachal visit by Indian authorities. The recent visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the province has also been strongly objected to by Beijing. China and India have so far held a total of 21 rounds of meetings to resolve the disputed Arunachal Pradesh border issue. The main reason for this is that there is a border of about 3,488 kilometers between the two countries.
