Garbage and even old clothes are thrown away while valuables are sometimes thrown away. It happens unknowingly. When it was found, it was thought to have been thrown away with the garbage. However, no one could have thought that 14 lakh rupees will be thrown away with the garbage!
An incident like throwing money of 14 lakh rupees happened in England. A couple in the country's Burnham Beach area were cleaning out their dead relative's house. There they found some old boxes. Thinking that there is nothing to do, he gave them to the recycling center.
The recycling center workers opened them before loading them into the machine and found 15,000 euros in them. If he wanted, he could have put them in his own pocket. But instead of doing that, he collected them and informed the local Avon and Somerset police station. Because the worker does not know those who have thrown this garbage, he has not even seen them. So he reported the matter to the police station.
Even the police personnel do not know. So they were forced to recall the CCTV footage. Local police contacted the couple after seeing the number plate of the vehicle in which the boxes were delivered to the recycling center. They were told the whole matter.
The couple said that the owner of the house where they dropped off the boxes often hid money in the opposite location. He hid this huge amount of money under the contents of these old and discarded boxes. Even they themselves did not know that relative had so much money.
According to media reports, after preliminary investigation, the police handed over the money to the couple. He also praised the recycle center worker for his honesty. People are made aware that before throwing away such garbage or old things, they should check at least once whether there are necessary or expensive things or not.
In fact, this is what we should all do. Because if you drop it, there is no guarantee that it will be found again.
