Nithor and Mau acted in the language day play

The Dhaka Times Desk Anskhya drama is being produced around the International Mother Language Day. On February 21 this year, Nithor Mahbub and Tahmina Sultana Mou acted as a couple in a special drama of BTV. The name of this play is 'Language'.

Recently the drama was shot in Khilgaon and BTV. The drama is written by Syed Manjurul Islam. Produced by Shah Zaman, this drama was directed by Himel Ishaq. Hasan Imam, Hafizur Rahman Sooruj, Monir Ahmed Shakeel, Ahsan Habib Nasim, Shanarai Devi Shanu, Dolan Dey, Tapan, Suchna Shikder, Shishu Shilpi Turj and many more acted in the play. Nithor Mahbub's mime is in a special part of this play.

In this regard, Nithor Mahbub said, 'Since the month of February, I have been doing shows one after another on the stage. There are more shows to come. The director of the drama, Himel Ishaq Bhai, asked for my time for the two days, I was supposed to be busy with other work. I took the time to do the work because there are dummies in BTV's work and drama. Although my role in the play is not that of a mime actor, I have acted as a mime in a part of the play, through which there is also a speech.

He also said that the language of many ethnic groups is now on the verge of destruction. So here in the mockumentary I have shown that it is very easy to destroy something but it is very difficult to create. I really enjoyed working on the play. Tahmina Sultana Mou and I played the role of husband and wife in the play. This was my first work as a duo with Mau. I haven't done much in TV dramas. So I acted for the first time with many others in this play.

About the play, Tahmina Sultana Mou said, 'I get more work in serial dramas. At the moment, several serial dramas in which I acted are being aired on various TV channels. So finding time to work on a one-hour play is quite difficult. Even then I try to work on special day dramas. It's great to work on BTV's language day drama. I have worked with many talented people in the drama, almost all of them were from the theater field, so I enjoyed doing the work.
