It is said that there is no age to learn. It doesn't matter at what age that learning happens. And that age is not a barrier has been proved by a 79-year-old retired Subedar-Major Dani Ram of India. The old man named Dani Ram passed the high school examination with 60 percent marks.
That old Dani Ram's house is in Khatima, Uttarakhand, India. Dani Ram had long wished to retire as Assistant Commandant. However, his wish was not fulfilled as he could not complete his studies.
Dani Ram said, 'I could not complete my secondary education. So there was no promotion to the post of Assistant Commandant. I was not promoted due to not completing my studies. That's when I thought of continuing my studies.'
But he didn't just think about it, he enrolled in a high school in the area. From there, he passed high school with 60 percent marks. By this time, he completed his high school studies. He is very happy about this. Her daughter is now a final year (MA) student in the university. His daughter also gave her father a lot of inspiration and support in passing his high school exams.
Emphasizing the importance of education, Dani Ram said that everyone needs to complete their education to be successful in life. He thinks that success is possible only if there is knowledge. Education can not only lead to success in life but can also take the country forward. Thinking about this, this old Dani Ram called to give importance to education.
